Factory orders to German manufacturing firms continued to slump for the third straight month in November, reflecting falling demand in overseas economies. Data released by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology showed that factory orders declined a seasonally and calendar adjusted 6% month-on-month in November.

Teleflex Inc, a provider of engineered products and services for the medical, aerospace and commercial markets, Thursday announced preliminary outlook for fiscal 2009, saying it expects to report adjusted earnings per share from continuing operations in the range of $4.10 - $4.40.
