After dropping back to back games in a shootout, Vancouver G Jason LaBarbera was able to pull off a regulation victory against the Oilers on Wednesday. LaBarbera made 23 stops and allowed two goals in a 4-2 win that moves his record to 7-8-6 on the season. He is now 2-0-2 since coming to Vancouver last week.

Heat SF Shawn Marion had 25 points and 13 rebounds in a loss to the Nuggets on Wednesday. It was Marion's second game with the Heat since returning from back spasms which kept him out for one game.

Golden State forward Brandan Wright partially dislocated his left shoulder late in the first half of the Warriors' game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night. Wright, a second-year pro who started his 16th game of the season, was hurt while attempting to block Pau Gasol's dunk with 50 seconds left in the half. He left the court holding his arm, and the Warriors said he wouldn't return. Wright had five points and nine rebounds when he was injured. He is averaging 8.0 points and 3.6 rebounds this season.

Phoenix SG Leandro Barbosa scored 18 points on 6-of-10 shooting with three trifectas in Wednesday's loss to the Pacers. Barbosa played 22 minutes in the game and caught fire from the field. He added three boards and three dimes.

Nuggets G J.R. Smith had 21 points off the bench for the Nuggets in a 108-97 win over the Heat at home on Wednesday. Smith has been consistently scoring in double digits, having done so in six of his last seven games, but this is the first time he reached the 20-point mark during that stretch.
