Long Story: Colin Linden is a producer (including artists like Lucinda Williams), songwriter, guitar player (he's played on something in the neighbourhood of 300 albums) who has a strong solo career as well as being part of the Canadian roots-rock “supergroup” Blackie And The Rodeo Kings. Short: Colin Linden is a bluesman. And the entire long and short of it is that Linden is on Radio 2 Drive (3 p.m.-6 p.m.) tomorrow, Friday Oct. 17th in the second hour of the programme. He'll also be joined by another great Canadian bluesman, Paul Reddick -- his latest CD is just out, and Linden's new recording is coming in November. As for that bluesman claim, here are a few key points as to his bluesman cred:

Ilya Bryzgalov made 20 saves for the Coyotes during a 6-3 loss to the Senators Friday. Bryzgalov fell behind early as he allowed three first-period goals and trailed 4-0 after two. "We're going up against some good teams," Phoenix coach Wayne Gretzky said. "We need some of our guys to answer the bell a little bit. Titans starting WRs Justin McCareins and Justin Gage missed practice again Friday and will be questionable for Sunday's game at Kansas City. McCareins injured his hamstring in Wednesday's practice, and Gage has not practiced in three weeks because of a right knee injury. McCareins said he will be a game-time decision. Brandon Jones started in place of Gage at Baltimore and if both receivers are out, it could open up more playing time for Chris Davis or rookie Lavelle Hawkins who has been active in just two games and has not caught a pass thus far. Hawkins said he hopes the extra work during the bye week and this week with the starters has helped him.

Friday night is THE night in Reykjavik! With a population of only 120,000 (200,000 if you count the Greater Reykjavik area) the world's most northern capital has one of the liveliest nightlife's overseas. It might not seem like a lot of people for a capital, but give them live music, a few drinks and a whole weekend to dance and they'll show you what the word 'party' means. Quite frankly after driving the entire country (including off-road driving in the desolated interior) for 5 days in what I baptised "the land of no-one", a couple hundred thousand people seemed like a lot! Friday night is on...are you ready for it? Click here to find out.
