Kraft said that the surgery went well and that Brady will return to Boston soon for rehabilitation. Brady, who suffered a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee during the Patriots' season opener against the Chiefs Sept. 7, was operated on at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. Kraft said Brady was in good spirits following the surgery. Kraft acknowledged it's been tough for Brady to sit out, and he intimated Brady would have played this year, even with the injuries, if it had been possible.
